Today Editor & Publisher ran a piece about the connections between Clint Eastwood's new feature, Flags of Our Fathers (based on Joe Rosenthal's iconic Iwo Jima photo, from World War II), and my book's last chapter, which contains the definitive account of the 9/11 flag-raising photo, shot by Thomas Franklin, of the Bergen Record.
